Residents and business owners in the Northern Virginia area can expect to see Timm's clean, shiny vans and friendly, uniformed painters as he paints up a storm with his residential and commercial painting franchise.
We had a chance to sit down and chat with Timm to find out what made him say WOW! to WOW 1 DAY PAINTING:
Why did you choose WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
I had been looking for a local business opportunity for a while and came across WOW 1 DAY PAINTING after meeting Craig Merrills who runs WOW operations in Washington DC. I had the chance to work with Craig and under his guidance, I learned quite a bit about the business. Once I felt confident I inquired about opening up my own franchise and luckily there was a territory available near my hometown. I always knew I wanted to work for myself, but I would have never dreamed I could do it this soon.
What were your backgrounds prior to WOW?
I worked in sales and insurance but most recently I worked for Wawa Food Markets as a manager.
What are your passions outside of work?
I really enjoy spending time with my sister. She has cerebral palsy and together we work on lots of fun projects. When the weather is nice I like to play golf and spend as much time as possible outside.
How are you involved with your community?
I volunteer my time for various different causes throughout the year.
What do you look forward to most about being a business owner?
WOW 1 DAY PAINTING allows me to bring a unique new business to residents of Stafford County. I am excited to be doing something no other business is doing in this region.
What makes Stafford County unique? What do you love about living there?
Stafford County is great, I have lived here my whole life. It's the suburban area of Washington DC so you're never too far away from anything. The local architecture reflects the history and there is an abundance of greenery making it a very scenic place to live as well.
Fun facts about you, or anything else you'd like to share?
I have visited almost every state and I'm looking forward to visiting all of them in the coming years. I'm excited to start the next chapter of my life as a business owner and look forward to both the challenges and rewards ahead.
