Hira, why did you and your husband, Vik, choose WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
Because of the connections we were able to make with the staff and other franchise owners. O2E Brands has a culture that fits our personalities, one which promotes growth, offers a support system, focuses on the customer, and provides constant feedback. We truly believe this is a recipe for success, that will allow us to provide exceptional service to our customers and contribute to our community in a positive way.
What was your background prior to joining WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
I come from the medical industry as a Nurse Practitioner, and providing exceptional service to my patients, listening to their true needs, has definitely prepared me to be a business owner. Going further back, Vik and I grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, and we actually met while working in customer service. We would always compete with each other on who could provide the best service to our customers - but at the end of the day, our customers were the real winners. Now, nine years later, we are very excited to be starting a business where our abilities can be used to WOW customers with exceptional quality work, that will leave a lasting smile on the faces of those in our community.
What are you looking forward to most about being a WOW 1 DAY PAINTING business owner?
We're excited to be building a business that provides value to our community by creating jobs, giving back, and getting involved in local events. Our region is a fantastic area with a lot of history and diversity, and the people here care a lot about contributung to local business, as well as going the extra mile to help someone out - so we're excited to WOW the great people of the Fox Valley area!
What are your passions outside of work?
I love spending time with the family, helping people in need, and travelling.
How are you involved with your community?
Love this question! We go to a local "Feed My Starving Children" facility and contribute our time by helping the facility pack food for children around the world.I've also been involved in medical mission trips to provide education and medical assistance to areas of need. Additionally, I have provided health screenings in our community to promote healthier lives, and I participate in various walks to raise health awareness.
Do you have any role models or key motivators in your life?
My Mom, Dad, and Husband. Regardless of what I do in life, they are my backbone, and my support. With them, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
