WOW 1 DAY PAINTING is Operating in Victoria, BC!
We are so excited to welcome our newest Franchise Partner: Rob Rolston!
Residents and business owners in Greater Victoria, BC, can expect to see Rob’s clean, shiny vans and friendly, uniformed painters as he paints up a storm with his residential and commercial painting franchise.
We had a chance to sit down and chat with Rob to find out what made him say WOW! to WOW 1 DAY PAINTING.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
I was working in management for another franchisor but I had always wanted to start my own business. I liked the structure and support of a franchise system so I started exploring other options. WOW 1 DAY PAINTING jumped out at me for a few reasons. Firstly, the brand has the reputation and experience of O2E Brands behind it. Secondly, I love how focused WOW 1 DAY PAINTING is on customer service. It’s a unique thing to find in this kind of industry.
WHAT WAS YOUR BACKGROUND PRIOR TO WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
Originally, I was in teaching but then I worked in new home construction for a while. When I moved to Victoria, I started working for an international franchisor called Bath Fitter.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT BEING A BUSINESS OWNER?
I love that I’m building something for myself and putting my own stamp on it. At the same time, I get to create a rewarding work environment for my employees and provide quality service to our customers.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR AND WHY?
Green, which is funny given the branding of WOW 1 DAY PAINTING! It reminds me of nature and I love getting outside whenever I can.
WHAT ARE YOUR PASSIONS OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I enjoy sports and exercise, and love getting out on the water for kayaking or paddleboarding. I’m also a musician and I play a lot of music around town at local pubs.
HOW ARE YOU INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
I’ve always supported charities. I used to work for the Red Cross and I still donate when there’s a disaster. One of the things I’m most excited about with my WOW 1 DAY PAINTING franchise is making connections with local charities and finding ways to contribute.
I once worked on a project with HeroWork, an organization that does extreme renovations for charities. I helped work on a halfway house for battered women. Hundreds of people came together and we finished the whole project in a couple of weeks. It was an amazing experience.
WHAT MAKES VICTORIA UNIQUE?
For a city with a fairly large population, Victoria still feels like a small town in a lot of ways. You can still bump into people you know and since we’re on an island, there’s a much slower pace of life.
We’re so excited to welcome Rob to the WOW 1 DAY PAINTING family! Connect with him on his local WOW 1 DAY PAINTING Victoria page here.
