Why did you choose WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
There are quite a few reasons why I chose WOW 1 DAY PAINTING. Before I knew anything about the franchise model, I was motivated by WOW's branding, it differentiated the business opportunity for me. The back end support structure and resources were better and far more robust than other businesses I evaluated. I chatted with current franchise partners who had nothing but positive feedback. The "people first" culture of O2E and of course, the coaching from Adam Winnett, Franchise Development Manager.
What was your background prior to joining WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
Middle management in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry, focused on people, sales, management, and leadership. What are you looking forward to most about being a WOW 1 DAY PAINTING business owner? Building a business that is fueled by exceptional customer service and experience.
What are your passions outside of work?
- Family
- Handyman projects (within reason!) around the house
- Golf (player and spectator)
- Spectator sports (fan of Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Penguins
- Tennessee Volunteers and college football in general)
- Music (I am an avid rock and roller)
How are you involved with your community?
I attend church and participate in various charity events (St. Baldrick's, United Way, Y-Guides and Princesses.)
Do you have any role models or key motivators in your life?
My father is my main role model am following the same path as he in terms of franchise ownership at this point in my life. He has been a good counselor throughout this whole process. I also consider my mother as a very important role model. She has always been loving and supportive throughout my life. My family and their happiness and well-being is my biggest motivator in anything that I do.
What makes your territory of Raleigh unique?
It's a flourishing marketplace relative to many other U.S. cities with a high concentration of advanced education population and affluent households. While there are many painters in my geography (including a very established and successful franchise), most are one person companies who have a reputation of undependability and low quality work. I am confident that I will be able to make an impact in my territories.
Fun facts about you, or anything else you'd like to share?
Growing up I played nearly all sports (baseball, football, basketball, wrestling, track, golf). As a pee wee football player in my very first game, I ran the opening kick off all the way for a touchdown.
I once witnessed and helped save the life of an individual in a multi-vehicle interstate crash that made national news.
