Why did you choose WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
We were looking for a service-oriented brand that we could partner with to start a business in the North Dallas Suburbs. We were drawn to the structure and support that was offered by WOW 1 DAY PAINTING as well as the overall success of O2E brands.
What was your background prior to joining WOW 1 DAY PAINTING?
We both served in the United States Air Force and have since worked in corporate environments. Phil has a Masters in Human Resources and has spent the last 12 years in Learning and Development where he has led teams that created programs, implemented technology, and managed projects. Since leaving the Air Force Nicki has had a progressive career for a major quick-service restaurant brand and is currently a Director of Operations in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Nicki has a Bachelors in Organizational Leadership.
What are you looking forward to most about being a WOW 1 DAY PAINTING business owner?
As WOW 1 DAY PAINTING business owners, we are looking forward to providing the best painting service in the North Dallas Suburbs. We want our clients to call us for their painting needs, but we desire to leave them amazed by the quality of our service!
What are your passions outside of work?
We have three boys that span from elementary to college. As a family, we love to travel and explore new places. Phil has a passion for all things sports related and Nicki has an affection for decorating.
How are you involved with your community?
Phil volunteers as a WATCH DOG at our son's elementary school. Nicki coordinates community involvement efforts for her restaurants. As a family, we participate in community food drives and service projects. We are excited to further our community ties as WOW 1 DAY PAINTING business owners.
Do you have any role models or key motivators in your life?
There are too many to list, but we like to summarize by saying that we have learned a lot from many mentors, coaches, teammates and employees throughout our journeys. Through successes and challenges, we've learned what to do, and what not to do, but no matter what, we learn from everyone!
What makes Dallas unique?
Dallas is home to over 1,500 corporate headquarters. Many of those are located in the North Dallas Suburbs. These suburban communities are vibrant and growing at an exponential rate. The headquarters draw in a diverse culture with many people relocating from all over the globe. We can't wait to serve this community!
Fun facts about you, or anything else you'd like to share?
We are Texas transplants. We have lived in rural West Texas, the bustling metro of Houston and now call Prosper, TX home, but Phil is originally from Chicago, IL and Nicki is from St Louis, MO. We have a strong affinity for our hometowns, especially as it relates to sports, but all three of our boys are Texans!
