Calgary franchise donating $5000 to High River flood victims

The impact of the High River floods in Alberta last June was felt across Canada, as images of the raging waters and destroyed homes were transmitted into living rooms.

Since then, many residents of High River, whose homes were ruined, have been struggling to make things right. Repair costs have placed an unexpected and significant financial burden on many families.

Calgary's WOW 1 DAY PAINTING General Manager Mike Bradley was on the ground during the disaster. His parents' home was flooded, and he spent hours helping them clean the muck out of their basement. Although they had their own flood damage to contend with, the Bradleys knew that others had experienced even worse, and Mike wanted to help.
