Residents and business owners in the Charlotte North Carolina area can expect to see Bill's clean, shiny vans and friendly, uniformed painters as he paints up a storm with his residential and commercial painting franchise.
We had a chance to sit down and chat with Bill to find out what made him say WOW! to WOW 1 DAY PAINTING:
Why did you choose WOW 1 Day Painting?
I was seeking franchise opportunities on my own with the help of a franchise coach and WOW 1 DAY PAINTING immediately got my attention. The concept, structure and support system intrigued me. After doing some additional research, I went to Vancouver to meet the team and very quickly realized that WOW 1 DAY PAINTING was exactly the type of opportunity I was looking for. Everything from the brand, the message, the business model, and the people sold me.
What were your backgrounds prior to WOW?
I was a finance manager at an international water solutions company. I was working close to 80 hours a week and traveling quite frequently. Needless to say, it was starting to take a toll on me and I knew it was time for a change.
What are you looking forward to most about being a business owner?
It may be hard to imagine that a finance guy could be a people person, but I am. I enjoy meeting new people and I'm excited that my new career will allow me to interact with many people in the Charlotte area. I'm looking forward to building successful relationships with my new clients and providing a good living and a great opportunity for my crews.
What is your favorite color and why?
That's a tough one! I love all colors in general. I find color within color, shades within shades. I am in awe of my color fan deck.
What are your passions outside of work?
I like spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy golfing and of course painting (yes, really, painting!).
How are you involved with your community?
My wife and I relocated to North Carolina in 2009. We have spent the last 8 years getting to know our new hometown and immersing ourselves in the local community. We love participating in the art scene, experiencing new BBQ dining, and taking day trips to discover all the beautiful areas of our state.
What makes Charlotte unique?
I strongly believe it is the diversity. The numerous art museums and galleries, NASCAR, the US Whitewater Center, a massive amusement park, and 20 plus colleges and universities, there is something for everyone here. it is a great place to live!
Fun facts about you, or anything else you'd like to share?
I am a professional portrait artist. I believe being a portrait artist enables me to look at all colors differently.
